Monstera Lime Banana

Monstera Lime Banana is an unusual collector Monstera grown for distinctive lime-toned foliage and relative scarcity compared with more familiar Monstera cultivars.

Monstera Lime Banana care

Provide bright, indirect light, stable warmth and an aerated root zone. Acclimate gradually after shipping or a change in growing conditions rather than moving protected foliage directly into intense sun.

Watering and substrate

Use a coarse, well-aerated aroid substrate that retains useful moisture without remaining continuously saturated. Water thoroughly when required, allow excess water to drain, and let the upper portion begin drying before watering again.

Humidity, airflow and support

Warm temperatures and moderate to high humidity can support active growth, but higher humidity also slows substrate drying. Maintain useful airflow and adjust watering to the actual environment. As the plant develops, climbing support can encourage stronger stem development and a more mature growth habit.

Why is Monstera Lime Banana unusual?

The plant is valued for its lighter lime-coloured foliage and uncommon collector status. Leaf colour can vary as growth matures and conditions change, so one leaf should not be treated as a guarantee of identical future foliage.

Is Monstera Lime Banana variegated?

Its lighter foliage should not automatically be treated as the same kind of sectoral variegation seen in Monstera Albo or Aurea. Colour expression can vary with development and growing conditions.
