Astrophytum asterias Variegated — 3–5cm Plant

Astrophytum asterias Variegated

A compact, rounded cactus with a distinctive star-shaped outline, green-grey skin, white flecking and contrasting yellow variegation along the ribs.

What you receive

• Quantity: One potted cactus.
• Plant size: Approximately 3–5cm across the cactus body. This measurement refers to the plant diameter, not the pot.

Photographs illustrate the appearance and natural variation of this form. Group photographs show examples; the listing price is for one plant. The plant supplied may differ in colour, markings and shape from the photographs, and variegation may change as it grows.

Care

• Light: Bright light with gentle morning sun; introduce stronger sunlight gradually and protect from harsh midday sun.
• Water: Allow the substrate to dry fully between waterings. Water sparingly in colder months and avoid leaving water around the base.
• Substrate: Use a free-draining cactus mix with a high mineral content and a pot with drainage.
• Temperature: Keep in a warm, frost-free position with good airflow.
