Begonia Illumination Apricot Shades – Variegated Sport

Begonia Illumination Apricot Shades – Variegated Sport is a foliage sport of the outdoor tuberous begonia, offered in an 11 cm pot. The photographed leaves show green foliage with contrasting cream, peach and pink-toned sectors.

This listing is for the variegated sport. Its variegation is not confirmed stable: pattern and colour may vary on future growth, and reversion is possible. The photographs show its current foliage; flowers are not pictured.

Outdoor growing and care

• Position: A sheltered, partially shaded position, protected from harsh midday sun and strong winds.
• Planting out: Acclimatise gradually and move outdoors after the risk of frost has passed.
• Water: Keep evenly moist during active growth using a well-drained potting mix. Avoid waterlogging.
• Feeding: Feed during active growth according to the fertiliser instructions.
• Winter: Protect from frost. As tuberous growth naturally dies back, reduce watering, dry off and store the tuber frost-free.
