Light for variegated aroids
Variegated leaves contain less chlorophyll in their pale tissue, so plants need enough usable light to support healthy growth without overheating or damaging foliage. Bright indirect light or a suitable grow light is normally preferable to a dark position.
Watering and roots
Healthy roots need both moisture and oxygen. Avoid keeping dense compost continuously saturated. A free-draining substrate and appropriate watering frequency help reduce prolonged oxygen-poor conditions around the roots.
Humidity and airflow
