Colocasia esculenta ‘Mojito’ brings bold, lime-green elephant-ear leaves splashed and speckled with dark purple to a tropical foliage collection. Supplied as a potted plant in an 11 cm nursery pot.
Leaf markings vary naturally between leaves and plants. The photographs show the foliage and growth habit; future stock may differ in size and pattern.
Colocasia Mojito care
Grow in a warm, bright position with shelter from drying winds. Outdoors in summer, acclimate gradually to sun or partial shade. Keep the root zone consistently moist during active growth using a moisture-retentive, well-drained substrate.
Overwintering in the UK
‘Mojito’ is frost-tender. Bring it into protected, frost-free conditions before cold weather; it is not a plant to leave exposed outdoors through a UK winter. Reduce watering if growth slows or the plant becomes dormant.
