Asplenium nidus 'Variegata' – 8cm Pot

A rare variegated bird’s nest fern with glossy green fronds marked by striking cream-white sectors and stripes. New growth emerges from the central rosette and develops its own individual variegation pattern.

You will receive the plant shown in the photographs. Supplied in an 8cm nursery pot. Natural variation and minor cosmetic marks are normal on live plants.

Care

• Light: Bright, indirect light; avoid strong direct sun.
• Water: Keep the substrate lightly and evenly moist, but never water directly into the crown.
• Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity with gentle air movement.
• Temperature: Keep warm and protect from cold draughts.
• Feeding: Use a dilute balanced fertiliser during active growth.

Variegated tissue contains less chlorophyll, so growth may be slower than an all-green bird’s nest fern. Each new frond will vary naturally.
