Monstera Albo

Monstera Albo Variegata is a collector Monstera valued for contrasting white and green variegation. Each leaf develops an individual pattern, so the amount and placement of variegated tissue can change as the active shoot grows.

Choose your option

• Fresh cutting: A fresh, unrooted stem cutting for you to root and establish.
• Established plant: An established, rooted collector plant.

Choose your preferred option using the size selector. Photographs illustrate the plant's foliage; the fresh cutting option is not the full plant pictured. Natural differences in foliage and variegation are expected.

Monstera Albo care

Provide bright, indirect light and stable warmth. Highly white sections contain little or no chlorophyll, so maintaining healthy green tissue is important for sustained growth and whole-plant photosynthesis.

Watering and substrate

Grow in a free-draining, aerated aroid substrate. Water thoroughly when the upper portion begins to dry, then allow excess water to drain. Avoid prolonged saturation around the roots.

Humidity, support and growth

Moderate to high humidity can support active growth, but higher humidity slows substrate drying. Adjust watering to the environment and maintain useful airflow. Provide suitable climbing support as the plant develops.

How stable is Monstera Albo variegation?

Variegation can change between successive leaves and cannot be guaranteed to remain at an identical level. When assessing future growth, consider stem and node patterning as well as the active growth point rather than judging from one leaf alone.

Propagation

Monstera Albo is propagated from stem material containing a viable node and growth point. During rooting, maintain enough moisture to prevent dehydration while preserving oxygen around the wounded stem and developing roots.
